Explore Dingle

Be it, a romantic stroll along one of Dingles many sandy beaches, a hike along The Dingle Way, a visit to the Great Blasket Islands or a chance to experience the hospitality Dingle Town has to offer through its array of dining and bar choices. The town of Dingle, on the tip of Dingle Peninsula, a precious gem on The Wild Atlantic Way is most definitely worth a visit.

For both the young and the mature, no one is left out, there is something for everyone:

Marine National Park

Don’t miss out on Kerry’s newest attraction. Since 2024 Dingle Peninsula is home to Ireland’s first Marine National Park. Páírc Náisiúnta na Mara spreads across 70,000 acres of land and sea. It encompasses a range of picture perfect landmarks such as Conor Pass, Mount Brandon and the Inch Dune system, as well as a number of islands and nature reserves – definitely worth a visit!

The Slea Head Loop

Beginning and ending in Dingle, The Slea Head Loop is a must for avid walkers, hikers and cyclists.  This breathtaking circular route takes in a large number of attractions such as Dunquin and Ventry – 26 miles of luscious beaches and magnificent scenery on the western end of the Dingle Peninsula.

Active Visit

For everyone looking for an active visit to the Dingle Peninsula, there are a number of activities that will not disappoint. Surfing in Castlegregory or sailing alongside the inlets and bays off the coast of Kerry.  Climbing Mt Brandon or cycling through the Connors Pass.  A cultural visit to The Blasket Centre or an immersion in the Gaeltacht region and our native language – Dingle has it all.

Aquarium and Murphys Ice Cream

For our young ones, don’t despair, a tour of Dingle Ocean world Aquarium will leave them fascinated by the wonders of the seas. Top it up with a visit to Murphy’s for some delicious ice cream, all smiles, and finish off with a boat trip from Dingle Harbour.

We here at Scotts will be happy to provide you with any information, advice, help with bookings and also, we can share our experience of Dingle and its surroundings. An experience that has left an indelible mark and resulted in our love and admiration for An Daingéan
