• Green Team: Scotts Hotel has established a Green Team that oversees our sustainability efforts and continually enhances our policies.
• Waste Reduction: We focus on reducing, reusing, and recycling paper, plastic, glass, and aluminium waste throughout the hotel.
• Minimizing Food Waste: We minimize food waste through mindful planning and portion control.
• Energy and Water Efficiency: We actively monitor and manage our energy and water usage to find opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Reducing the use of Single-Use Cups: We are proud to participate in Killarney town’s 2GoCup scheme, reducing our reliance on single-use plastics.
• Supporting Irish Businesses: We support Irish businesses by sourcing local products whenever possible. This reduces our carbon footprint and boosts the local economy.
• Staff Training: Our staff is thoroughly trained to implement and uphold our sustainability practices in all areas of our operations.
