Scrutineering and Ceremonial Start

This year’s rally will kick off with scrutineering of cars at 1.00 pm on Friday, May 3rd, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend filled with speed, skill, and pure rally magic. In addition, the traditional ceremonial start on Main Street on Friday night adds to the anticipation and builds up the adrenaline for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience. The rally is also a counting round of the new-for-2024 Stellantis Cup for Peugeot and Opel Rally4 cars, the Southern Four regional rally championship, and the Kingdom of Kerry county rally championship ensuring a top-notch entry across all categories.

Scenic Routes

As we are counting the days to the ceremonial start, the very best rally drivers from across Ireland are preparing for one of the world’s most picturesque rally routes. We’re talking about the Beara Peninsula, with awesome stages like Ardgroom, Cod’s Head, and the Tim Healy Pass. On top of that, the Sunday rally will take place on the East Kerry roads near Killarney, with some extra miles added in for good measure.
